Who is yashea? (Yah-shay)

The 25 year-old independent singer/song-writer is looking to  re-define the status quo of the Hispanic female–LGBTQ artist! She's here on a mission to take genres & put her own SPIN on things. NO BAD VIBES HERE when Yashea steps in the room!

Legal & artist name YASHEA, stems from her parents differences in baseball teams. YA for the “Yankees” & SHEA for the “Mets,” based off of the two original baseball stadiums. Yashea still thanks GOD today that she wasn’t born at a later time, or maybe she would of been know as YA-CITI, haha!
The Queens native comes into the game with a very diverse/unique style. She sets a precedent when it comes to this, with a semi feminine-masculine taste, by her stylist "XIONBEAUTY." Some may compare Yashea to "Aaliyah" for her  sexy tomboy like flow.
The artist had music & poetry in her blood from as early as 9 years young, when she wrote her first rap. Determined to become a music legend, she expanded into R&B, Dancehall, Trap & more. Yashea started off rapping, but began singing her raps melodically. “Slow grinds are better than no grinds, either way I’m in gear," living by those words, she began harnessing her craft in recording studios at 19 in NYC & Miami. Networking from there, she met a lot of engineers, producers, etc. This lead to studio invites with well accoladed engineers. Singing/writing became the secret weapon, as Yashea would find solitude in writing her own music, catapulting her into the artist she is today!
Her HIT single, "FEEL IT" went from being heard throughout clubs in the tri-state area of NYC, to Florida, all the way to Dubai, & so many more places! "FEEL IT" debuted on RADIO airwaves such as "HOT 97" by famous disk jockeys, beginning with DJ CAMILO with NO MAJOR MARKETING PROMOTIONS!
LOOK OUT, because she has so much in store for us in the coming years.. she's here to STAY!
